I'm not a reader. Never been.
But ofc. when you get kids there comes a time that you start reading books to them.
They're at an age now that they enjoy listening to a longer story, or read a longer story themselves.
My kids really like the stories from Roald Dahl. And to be honest, as someone who never grabs a book for myself I do like them too.
Here's a list we've read:
- Fantastic Mr Fox (1970)
- The BFG (1982)
- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (1964)
The children books are easy to read, they have nice illustrations and they tell a great story.
Fact: Roald Dahl was a fighter pilot!
